Trademark Policy

This policy explains how you may refer to WYODYNAMICS and use our trademarks, logos, and other brand features. It is part of the rules for using wyodynamics.com, together with our Terms of Service.

1. Our marks

WYODYNAMICS, the WYODYNAMICS wordmark, “From wellhead to wellness,” Algaloid Drive, the Algaloid Drive mark, Pure Wyoming as used with our seal, and our logos and trade dress are trademarks of WYODYNAMICS. Some of these marks may be registered. This list is not exhaustive. The absence of a name from this page, or the absence of a trademark symbol, does not mean we are not using it as a trademark.

2. Referring to us

You may use the word “WYODYNAMICS” in ordinary text to refer to us truthfully. For example, you may say that you visited our Site, that you contacted us, or that a news article is about us. Use the name as an adjective when you can (“WYODYNAMICS systems”), not as the name of your own product, service, or company.

Do not change the spelling, add a design, or combine our name with your own so that the result looks like a WYODYNAMICS mark.

3. Logos and brand features

You may not use our logos, the bison seal, the Algaloid Drive mark, or other brand artwork unless we have given you written permission. Permission to link to the Site is not permission to use a logo.

If we give you permission, you must follow the form we provide, leave a clear space around the mark, and not recolor, redraw, animate, or crop it. Permission can be withdrawn.

4. What you may not do

You may not use our marks in a way that:

  • is likely to confuse people about the source of a product, service, or statement;
  • suggests that we sponsor, endorse, or are affiliated with you, unless we have agreed in writing;
  • disparages us or our products;
  • appears in a domain name, social handle, app name, or company name that is not yours to use; or
  • is more prominent than your own branding in a piece that is not ours.

News reporting, commentary, and other nominative fair use remain available where the law allows them. When that applies, use only what is necessary to identify us, and do not use a logo when the word alone will do.

5. No license

Except for the limited right to refer to us truthfully, nothing on the Site gives you a license to use our marks. All goodwill from use of the marks belongs to WYODYNAMICS.

6. Reporting misuse

If you see a use of our marks that you believe is improper, or if you want to ask permission, write to build@wyodynamics.com. Include the address of the page or a copy of the material, and a short description of the concern.

We may ask a host, platform, or registrar to take down material that misuses our marks. Sending a notice does not, by itself, require us to take any particular step.
